Born in Côte d'Ivoire and now based in Manitoba, Kelly Bado’s distinctive sound made her an ambassador for musical diversity—bridging generations, geographies, and genres with every note.
Kelly is also the proud recipient of the Kevin Walter Memorial Award (2026), the Art and Culture Award at the Black and Proud Gala (2024), a Native American Music Award (2024) and a four-time recipient of the Western Canadian Music Award.
She had the pleasure to do several performances at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, and in 2026 she continues expand her global footprint with performances across Japan, Québec, and the UK.
