There are many misconceptions and misunderstandings about the Japanese music scene and how the business of music is done in Japan. "Overseas acts can tour as an opener." and "It's illegal to sell CDs under $25." are examples of misinformation that continues to spread.
This main purpose of this session is to provide artists and others who are interested in the Japanese music market, with answers to any questions that they may have. Long- time producer, vocalist, manager and business owner, Masanori Sanjo will be on hand to accept questions and provide insight on the business of music in Japan.
